1. The Three Farmers
Down in the valley there were three farms. The owners of these farms had
done well. They were rich men. They were also nasty men. All three of were
about as nasty and mean as any men you could meet. Their names were Farmer
Boggis, Farmer Bunce and Farmer Bean.
１ 三人の農場主
谷間に三つの農場があった。農場の持ち主は、いずれも成功者。いずれも金持ちだった。そして、いずれも、いけ好かない人物。三人が三人とも、そんじょそこらでお目にかかれないような、いけ好かないしみったれだった。名前はそれぞれ、ブヨブク農場主、ブヨブク農場主、ゼニシブリ農場主。
